Being probably the youngest producer in the Haitian movie and tv industry, Ed wants to give other young haitians opportunies to showcase their talents and becoming role models for others. Starting his career as an actor Ed always wanted more from this industry in Feb 2006 Ed made his directorial debut with the movie "Se Lavi" which has so much success. Now he is taking on a new Challenge with Tele Lakay while still working on Se Lavi 2 .
Portia Pierre, Co-Executive Producer, Photographer and Set Designer. Portia’s interest in photography began 20 years ago as what some high school students would consider “an easy “A” elective. Her love for self-expression and creativity still remains a passion that is displayed in print as well as on the set. You can experience some of her works in the movie “Se Lavi” by Ed Shakespierre, Tele Lakay just to name a few.
Il fut ne, ne le voyez-vous pas, pour etre utile a son pays et a vous tous . He dreams of a Haiti, where all Haitians share a common vision. Diana Bien-Aime is a remarkably talented Haitian American born in Nyack, New York. She received her bachelors of science degree from the University of Florida in 2001. She later attended Barry University where she earned her masters degree in organizational communications. She has a passion for the field of communications, the performing arts, and public speaking. Moving from Haiti to the U.S to further her education, Kerfye is now majoring in International Relations at Florida International University. After her involvement with "Se Lavi" she became very interested in entertainment industry with a goal to promote the haitian culture. Now being the publicist for Tele Lakay she feels right at home.
Started in the church with his group witness of God Francky always had a passion for arts. That passion led him to open his own studio (HD Photo) where he serves as photographer and graphic designer. His outgoing personality got the attention of executive producer Mr. Ed Shakespierre and land him the role of the host for a new upcoming show title " How Haitian are you?" Francky is very excited to join the Tele Lakay team and hopes that his show will make a difference in the community..
Born and raised in Haiti, Olynda has always felt compelled to stay true to her roots. Having experienced the best of both american and haitien cultures, she feels that by joining the Tele Lakay team, she can best express her love for her country. As a young girl growing up in Haiti, all her freinds came to her to be "beautified". Today, she is a professional cosmetologist, working in the beauty industry for 11 years. She is very talented in her field and has the unique ability to see and bring out the beauty in anyone or anything. What is her secret you ask? She works from the inside out. What she would like to accomplish here at Tele Lakay is simply this: to "beautify her community".
As a native of Haiti Woldy is a concern samaritan who loves to work with and for his community.
